I am a passionate basketball player. I have been playing since I was 12 years old, and I want to share my love for this sport with people all around the world ❤️
This sport has helped me develop a strong character, dedication, physical strength, and teamwork skills. I quit my high-paying corporate job to create the best app for people who love basketball and want to train and play more.
Basketball isn't just a game; it's a lifestyle. It provides physical activity, fun, mental health benefits, and networking opportunities. It's an ideal way to take a break and recharge in our information-overloaded world. The market is huge and growing.
Children worldwide are facing social media addiction, which depletes their dopamine system and impairs their ability to focus. This addiction also contributes to psychological issues and the rise of ADHD syndrome. As a result, children become less disciplined, more susceptible to unhealthy behaviors, and struggle with learning.
We're backed by: Flyer One Ventures and notable angels - experienced entrepreneurs and founders o S16VC. Secured 45% of our goal with a 7-months runway (till the end of 2023). We’re keeping our focus on product metrics (retention and revenue). In 2019, we have witnessed the emergence of vertical communities like Strava for runners (going public with an IPO in 2024), AllTrails for hikers, and Fishbrain for fishermen. However, most basketball apps lack a sense of community and are developed by basketball players who lack experience in startups. We consider ourselves fortunate to have both experience in building successful and scalable software businesses and a deep passion for basketball. Moreover, basketball is gaining popularity globally due to its easy accessibility and the NBA's global promotion efforts.
